Shortly after returning to the USA, Jack moved to the Washington, DC area. He created the George Washington Amity Series as a way to bring Muslims and Christians together - to celebrate the 225th anniversary of America's longest standing treaty: The Treaty of Friendship and Amity with Morocco, ratified by the Continental Congress on July 18, 1787.
The slogan of the Amity Series is "Beyond Interfaith Dialog to Interpersonal Relationships" and seeks to connect people who seek the truth and love God.
On January 31, 2020 the Amity Series partnered to host the 2nd Pittsburgh Christian Muslim Tea Forum. About 45 Christian and Muslim clergy attended this meeting which focused on small group discussions among the clergy.
